The FXTM team was delighted to bring its incredibly successful E-Trading Investment Summit back to Nigeria in August for a series of seminars and workshops. The turnout was truly outstanding, with close to 400 participants!

The Summit began on 16 August with two one-day seminars and a workshop in Port Harcourt. Over the course of the next days, guests were provided with a solid introduction to forex.

Topics covered included:

• The fundamentals of trading the forex market
• A summary of FXTM’s wide array of products and services
• The benefits of our innovative copy trading programme, FXTM Invest

The workshops went into more detail on topics such as:

• Trading platforms
• Placing trades
• Stop Loss and Take Profit strategies
• An introduction to technical analysis
• Japanese candlesticks
• Risk-management principles
• Trading psychology and much more

The Summit continued in Lagos on 23 August and was equally as fruitful, with attendees enjoying the chance to participate and ask their most pressing industry questions. Several of our guests were also lucky enough to win brand-new Android phones in our lucky raffle draws!

It was great to see so much enthusiasm and interest in both Nigerian cities. Thanks to everyone who helped make the Summit such a terrific success!

It was an incredible night for the many traders and partners who attended the FXTMPartners Gala Dinner in Bangkok on 24 August.

Setting sail from the Asiatique Port, the cruise was a luxurious setting for an evening of inspirational entertainment, fine dining and relaxed networking. We were pleased to welcome so many valued traders and partners onboard. And our team was happy to find places for those last-minute attendees who knew this was an unmissable event.

Overall, we left the dock with 265 guests, making it one of the industry’s largest gala events in the region so far this year!

Once we were out to sea and enjoying the stunning views over the Bangkok waterfront, the party really got going. Live music from renowned artist Yong (from the band ‘Armchair’) got everyone on their feet, followed by a traditional Thai musical performance. Then it was time to enjoy the delicious buffet and mix and mingle with other local traders and members of the FXTM team.

A prize draw in which three lucky winners each received a MacBook ensured the evening ended on an exciting note.

After a successful partnership during the Cape Town Cycle Tour Race earlier this year, FXTM is proud to announce that we’re continuing to support the Velokhaya Cycling Team during seven upcoming cycling events in South Africa. The first of these will be the epic Legacy Ride4Hope race, from 28-31 August, in honour of Nelson Mandela’s centenary.

FXTM added to the continued success of the South African seminar series – The Foundation of Online Trading, presented by Theunis Kruger – with stops in Rustenburg and Pretoria in August. Continuing its mission to educate investors on the fundamentals of trading, our industry expert Theunis Kruger hosted two engaging installments on 10 August and 24 August, respectively.

This events combined welcomed close to 200 enthusiastic attendees, all eager for a structured guide on how they can start their online trading journey.

Over the course of the seminars, topics covered:

• The three foundational pillars of online trading
• How the forex market works and how to navigate it
• Tips and insights to improve their trading skills
• The Moving Average Spring Strategy
• FXTM’s range of unique products and services

Both seminars included hands-on sessions which enabled traders to benefit from seeing practical examples in action, as well as the opportunity to ask Theunis their most pressing industry questions.
 
Besides Theunis, guests were invited to join FXTM staff for a delicious complimentary lunch, which provided numerous networking opportunities.

On 3 August FXTMPartners hosted our first-ever event in Kuala Lumpur! We were delighted to meet so many of our valued traders in Malaysia and to have the chance to share a brand-new learning opportunity with them.

Market expert Muhammed Farhan Mohd Ali presented his ‘Introduction to the MAO Strategy’ seminar. Completely free to attend, this event showed eager traders how to combine the Moving Average and the Awesome oscillator to get more out of the markets.

Attendees were excited to learn:

• The fundamentals of forex
• Short and long-term strategies for consistent investment potential
• Key analysis tools
• How to trade the CFD market using MAO strategies and how to monitor your success

It was a hugely enjoyable and productive day. Our team enjoyed getting to know our clients in Malaysia better and we would like to thank everyone who came along and contributed to this event’s success.

Traders in Bangladesh were excited to meet FXTM’s Forex Educator Robin Mazumdar at two exclusive Forex Basics and Trading Strategies workshops. These events provided a fresh perspective on the fundamentals of the markets, and introduced simple strategies that could contribute to successful trading.

The first workshop took place on 26 July in Jessore, followed by the second on 2 August in Cox’s Bazar. On both occasions, there was a great turnout of enthusiastic attendees who were all set to enjoy a day of interactive learning right from the start.

Topics covered included:

• An introduction to foreign exchange
• The MT4 platform and how to use it
• The Ichimoku, Moving Average and Fibonacci trading strategies
• Identifying potential buy and sell setups
• Risk management, and much more!

There were numerous opportunities for participants to ask Robin their most pressing industry questions, which helped to further cement their newfound knowledge. There was also plenty of time for hands-on practice, which guests thoroughly enjoyed.
