FXTMPartners’ latest gala dinner brought together over 300 FX traders and experts from all backgrounds, for an evening of celebration and recognition of achievement.

The event was held on 16 November at the grand Pearl Continental Hotel in Lahore, and included stunning performances from a well-known local performer and traditional dancers, as well as guest appearance by local TV legend Rashid Mehmood.

Farrukh Adeeb Butt – FXTM’s Global Head of Business Development – gave an inspirational speech to guests, and the evening was concluded with a presentation by successful traders and the opportunity for guests to ask questions.

The evening turned out as a fantastic combination of entertainment, networking, and delicious international food.

FXTM is delighted to congratulate the Velokhaya cycling team for a phenomenal result in their final cycling event of 2019! The challenging Discovery 947 Ride Joburg took place on Sunday, 17 November and wove across almost 95km of Johannesburg.

With its fastest rider’s impressive finishing time of 2:15mins, Velokhaya were among the fiercest of the competitors and finished well within the Top 10!

This thrilling race concludes a fantastic year of action-packed events, including the Nelson Mandela Legacy Ride for Hope, the Satellite Classic and more. Achieving 28th place out of a total of 493 teams in the recent Wines2Whales event was a particularly memorable highlight!

FXTM were delighted to attend the Egypt Investment Expo 2019 on 28 and 29 October as Gold Sponsor. This prestigious two-day event took place at the Tolip Golden Plaza in Cairo and brought together business and finance experts from all over Egypt and the Middle East, including forex, binary options, digital and real-estate investment companies.

This event was free to attend and catered for investors and traders of all experience levels.

FXTM is looking forward to another adrenaline-fuelled event with the Velokhaya Cycling Team as part of their successful partnership this year. Following on from six thrilling cycling events since August 2019, the team will be taking on the Discovery 947 Ride Joburg event on 17 November in Johannesburg. This gruelling ride spans across nearly 95km of South Africa’s biggest city, and will start and finish in Riversands Commercial Park.

The not-for-profit organization Velokhaya was initially set up in 2004 to inspire and develop young people in Cape Town through education and sport. Through competing in these varied cycling challenges, they have helped hundreds of vulnerable young people who have become disenfranchised or misled into gang life.

Some key highlights of their inspirational journey have included the high-profile Ride4Hope event organised for Nelson Mandela’s centennial, and impressively securing 28th place out of 493 teams in the recent Wines2Whales event.

FXTM was delighted to make a return to Polokwane, South Africa for another installment of the successful series The Foundation of Online Trading. Led by our industry expert Theunis Kruger, this event was designed with first-time traders in mind and provided a structured roadmap for them to begin their online trading journey.

The seminar took place on the 26 October and welcomed enthusiastic guests from throughout the region. Thanks to our previously successful seminar in Polokwane last year, FXTM decided that we shouldn't miss out on hosting another seminar in a city where we get a nice balance of experienced and non-experienced traders alike engaging with Mr Kruger and our highly-skilled team of account managers.

• How the forex market works and how to navigate it
• Tips and insights to improve their trading skills
• The Moving Average Spring Strategy
• FXTM’s range of unique products and services

There was plenty of opportunity for participants to ask their most pressing industry questions — and our trading expert was happy to answer!

We are pleased to announce that FXTM has hosted a range of successful events for local traders in Nigeria over the last month.

Some of the highlights included a two-day E-Trading and Investment Summit in Port Harcourt on October 11-17 and a seminar with Head of Education and renowned FX guru, Andreas Thalassinos, on the Ultimate Trading Formula (UTF) in Lagos on October 29.

These popular educational and networking sessions were all part of FXTM’s continuing series of educational events in Nigeria, and attracted around 420 people from across the country.

During the Summit, traders gained practical insights into the currency markets from FXTM’s FX Trainer Godson Osagwu, while both the Summit and the seminar also afforded people the chance to:

• Develop more effective strategies.
• Identify high-probability entry and exit points.
• Recognise trading opportunities.
• Learn about risk-management techniques.
